My first 22 hours of playing Fortnite with two professional players, (what i learned).

I was always a real-time strategy kind of player, but as time passed by, i had no friends to play multiplayer, literally, everyone switched to Fortnite, so i had to change too. I asked my two friends who were already professionally playing for a European eSports team, and we played for 22 hours. Here is everything i learned and all the tips&tricks you will need to know before you start playing.

FORTNITE - the game that broke all eSports records. There's not much more we can say about the game that hasn't already been published, but this game is always pushing the boundaries and winning records. Their revenue in February alone was an astonishing $126 million, and there are reports from SuperData that in March their income was $223 million. The biggest reason for that much earnings is the fact that Fortnite is absolutely FREE for everyone to play, but they have a lot of microtransactions in-game that are optional for players if they want to buy them. Those items DO NOT benefit your gameplay but just offer you different graphics options.

Ok, so let's move on to the gameplay. Fortnite is Epic's Battle Royale where you jump from a flying bus with 99 other fellow players, grind wood, stone and metal, gather guns and medical equipment and try to survive as long as possible. The last man standing is the winner.

Fortnite is still an early access game, so don't get stressed out when the game crashes, or you get lags.

I started playing with two of my friends who are professional Fortnite players kimie_official and salebog. After a few games, they gave me and explained these TOP tips for beginners. After that, i had my first squad Victory Royale!

1. If you are a beginner in the Battle Royale mod, and Fortnite, you should jump to some far and distant places on the map. It all depends on where the bus is going, but usually, when you jump, you can parachute to any location on the map. These are good spots to land with few to no opponents: Junk Junction, Snobby Shores, Flush Factory, Lucky Landing, Lonely Lodge, Risky Reels, and Wailing Woods.

2. Before you land, you should search for chests. Chests in Fortnite offer a variety of useful items, and you can even get a legendary gun. While falling you can see them on the ground glowing, so your best option would be to fast travel there.

3. Gather materials. There are three types of materials, wood, brick, and metal. You can harvest wood by hitting the nearby trees or wooden fences, and houses. Brick is accumulated via stone piles and hitting concrete buildings, and metal is collected by beating metal fences, cars, trucks, etc. The trick here is when you are hitting a tree, for example, a small circle with a red dot will appear, if you move your mouse to that circle and hit, you will gather resources faster than the usual method. This is a primary option that you should implement so you can get more materials quicker and possibly defend yourself if someone suddenly attacks.

4. Build. When you harvest enough materials, and you have reasonably good gear, you should look for other players and start fighting. The thing that differentiates Fortnite from let's say PUBG is the fact that you can build stuff, you can make walls, floors, rooftops, and stairs, so you can easily defend yourself from attacking opponents. The trick here is to change key bindings. The default bindings are F1, F2, F3, F4, and F5 which is very difficult to press while you are in combat.

Those are the best tips for beginners in Fortnite Battle Royale. The game is continually changing, and developers are always adding new items like launch pads, spiky traps, new guns, rocket launchers, etc. But don't worry, we here at Small Teaser will do our best to inform you with all the updates and changes, so you can stay focused on your game and finally get that #1 Victory Royale!

Remember, Fortnite has you and 99 other players, the goal of the game is to survive and be the last man standing.

Good luck and Have Fun!
